Several people have been after me to create a blog to share what's happening both in abatement and in Eagle falconry. Here's my first attempt.
It's been almost a year since the National Geographic "Untamed" web series focused on raptors and one in particular who is very special to me.
Dexter is my 14 year-old male Golden Eagle. He's been my hunting partner for nearly 10 years now but photos like this don't fully capture just how magnificent these birds of prey truly are.
Falconry and my abatement career allow me a privilege that few people know; I get to do what I love and make a living doing it!
